Ok let me get this out of the road before we go any further.

This is not software to be used with mirror hardware but a personal teleprompter for the windows PC. It is not full screen but a personal recording teleprompter for creating audio books or article audios.Of course you can use it for many other things also.

I have been struggling with Audacity+printed text with the need to distance the mike from the computer because of the fan noise.

I made a horrible-looking tiny mike-size anechoic chamber out of corrugated cardboard, tape and cut-up egg cartons, but it works fairly well at a distance for keeping the fan noise out of the recording.

My problem was that I normally read fast and this was causing me to make mistakes during the recording. Because of the distance, I was unable to control Audacity’s pause, so I would just say “Scratch that” when I flubbed the text, repeat it, then remove the error during an edit after recording.

With your little program, I still might have to do that some, but not nearly as often because of the large scrolling text that will not let me read too fast.
