Teleprompter turns books into audio books.
How to use MSIPrompt to turn your ebooks into audio books.
The benefits of eBooks are that they can be sold paperless, transported weightless, and read without turning a page. But despite these advantages, many readers have yet to warm to this medium.
However, they are comfortable accessing the more traditional audiobooks motorists and the sight impaired have employed for years. You can convert eBooks into audio version.
Things I do.
Tip 1. Get access to eBooks. You’ll find them in a wide variety of formats. If you want to transcribe one, secure all of the text. You can download eBooks from numerous sites. Some of the books are in the public domain and require no payment. Others must be bought.
The main thing is to be able to access the text in digital format so you can copy and paste into MSI Prompt. I usually do a chapter at a time. If they are big chapters break them down to manageable chunks.
Tip 2. I make sure I speak a little slower than I would normally speak. This allows me to eliminate many of the “ums” and “Ars” and will actually make it sound more professional.
Tip 3. I separate my talk into sections so I can record it more easily.
Tip 4. If I make a blunder (I make a lot) then I just do that bit again and leave a bit of a blank space and keep going. When I have finished I can go back and edit the audio file deleting all the blunders.
Tip 5. I also try and get a good piece of music to put in the background to take some of the emphasis off just my voice. Be aware of copyright laws with this.
Tip 6. When I am talking I try and think happy thoughts so the feeling of the talk will have the right flow and feeling. Your voice will project a little bit of your character so be expressive and enjoy it. This is probably the biggest secret of doing your own audio.
Once you have all your recordings use something like Audacity to edit your files. Here is a good tutorial on Audacity, a free audio editing software.

Huge niche with hundreds of sub niches
As of September 2008, more than 173,000,000 iPods had been sold worldwide, making it the best-selling digital audio player series in history.
And that’s just ipods, What about the millions of other MP3 players and PMP’s.
What are a lot of the owners of these players looking for?
Lots look for music however many search out audio books and articles they can listen to on the way to work, traveling in their car or just sitting home relaxing.
Over the last few months I have been creating audio books and articles on various topics with fantastic results by adding into the audio a couple of short adds to my other products.
Some of the recordings I made myself from my own ebooks and others I have used PLR books and articles to create the audios.
The problem is always how to do it so it sounds professional and flipping between a recorder and a word file means that it is hard to control your speaking rate.
I had a special Teleprompter built that allows you to scroll the text and also record at the same time allowing the user to make professional sounding audio books and articles on their PC. (Not for Mac)
Make unlimited number of audio books and articles with this one piece of software. Upload your mp3 to all sorts of different directories and also add value to your current products.

Audio Books while your driving.
Did you know that A trucker working to the legal limit in the U.S. can rack up to 3,432 driving hours a year-nearly 10 times that of the average New York commuter or enough to listen to the unabridged audio book version of Bill Clinton’s My Life 77 times? (Publishing Trends, Market Partners International, September 2005).
Think of the way audio books could optimize your time management. Audio books can turn the day to a 26 hours day. Yes, audio books can add extra two hours each day. Still not convinced?
Did you know that The average rush hour driver will spend an additional 62 hours stuck in traffic-at standstill-each year and that More than 97 million workers drive alone to work each day.
Well, enough with that pile of useless data, Think about yourself – what have you been doing while driving – Listening to the radio? Making unnecessary calls with your mobile phone? Wasting valuable time?
Now close your eyes and imagine you could read the last edition of the New York Times, Read the last Harry Potter book or learn Chinese – all simultaneously while driving your car. Now open your eyes and stop dreaming, you can do it all now. The only difference is that you are going to use a new method of reading – listening to audio books.
And it is so easy: You may get audio books in different formats from books on tapes and audio books on CD to downloadable audio books. You can get it from different sources – libraries, book and music stores and online audio book sources. You could buy audio books, rent audio books and even get free audio books.
According to eBrain Market Research survey, 71% of the audio book listeners listen to them on long car trips.
Believe me; I couldn’t wait getting into the heavy morning traffic listening to the audio book “IT” by Stephen king. In fact, I couldn’t resist listening to it at home after work. I love audio books.
